A Little Bit About Our School....Kreamer Street is a learning community of educators, students and families. Our mission is to lay a foundation of solid educational skills and a love of learning for all. Through the use of data driven instruction, our students will leave as readers, writers and mathematicians ready to explore the world and make their mark. We strive to build up our community so that when our students graduate, they will be confident citizens surrounded by a supportive environment in which to begin a productive and enriched life.
Academics
The academic program at Kreamer Street Elementary School focuses on building our students' foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and social studies. Our curriculum aims to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills through various learning methods. Additionally, our students are cultivating skills and knowledge in areas beyond core academic subjects; art, music, and physical education. Kreamer Street Elementary seeks to create an engaging learning community where our students thrive and grow through all of our academic programs.
Special Areas
Music, art, and physical education play a vital role in the development of children from Kindergarten through 3rd grade. These subjects support cognitive, emotional, and physical growth by engaging different areas of the brain and encouraging creative expression, social interaction, and motor skills development. Music helps children develop auditory skills, rhythm, and memory, while Art nurtures imagination, problem-solving abilities, and fine motor coordination. Physical Education promotes health, coordination, teamwork, and discipline, laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of physical activity. Together, these subjects enrich the core academic curriculum and contribute to well-rounded, confident, and capable learners.
